About Us
Carol Kaye started her Permanent Makeup career in 1997 in Champaign, IL after completing her studies and training at the International Institute of Permanent Cosmetics in Irvine, California. She was tutored by the world renown instructor Sue Church, CPCP. She was the first Permanent Cosmetics artist in Champaign, IL and helped the local health department rewrite its tattoo regulations to include separate cosmetic tattooing requirements. In 1999 she became affiliated with Advanced Aesthetics Surgery and Laser Center owned by Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. James Kurley, where she provided permanent cosmetics services for his clients for over 10 years. She became an instructor of permanent cosmetics that year meeting all the requirements of the Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professionals (SPCP). She was one of the attendee at the pilot "Train the Trainer" program held by the SPCP on March 22, 2001 and taught by Pati Pavlic. Pati is a nationally known permanent cosmetics instructor and was instrumental in setting the high standards and requirements that are in place today for SPCP recommended instructors. Carol earned her Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional (CPCP) designation in 2006. Carol became a lash extension instructor in 2007 and is associated with EnVogue Lashes, LLC as one of their Independent Trainers. Carol is one of the first 12 Certified Cry Baby Mascara Trainers in the country, completing her training in March of 2011. After relocating to Kentucky in 2009, Carol is opening Kentucky's first Permanent Cosmetics teaching center in order to continue bringing the finest permanent cosmetics technicians into the midwest. Carol has taught artists from Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Arizona.
Our teaching facility is located 45 minutes southeast of Owensboro, in a quaint small town with all the amenities you would need for a week's stay. Hartford is centrally located - servicing all of Kentucky as well as the surrounding states of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee and Missouri.
